Hi Wattlers... So many of you now, it's good to see this thread growing ... doesn't seem that long since you started it ... Thankyou all so much for your messages over the past couple of weeks, I have been so busy and not had time to reply to most of them... please accept my apologies.. Laurie... thanks for all the jokes you have sent me...I promise to sit and read them one day... lots still waiting for me..... Judy..(you know which one)... look forward to a chat on msn (when I catch you..lol) The Chester meet went very well and have some pics of that up... don't know who that woman was, dancing round that pole though!! Blackpool next in two weeks time... a few of us booked a long weekend there so it will be the 'Kiss me Quick' hats and tinsle wigs and a good laugh.... Lovely weather here at the moment so am taking full advantage of it and having a clean through in the house... maybe a few minutes sitting in the garden... or will that be the other way round..lol... Love to all and hope you all have a good day... Anne xxx

What a busy busy place. I've been doing other boring but essential activities and when I get back there are 3 pages to read. Lew. Gary's ancestor is Patrick Reedy who married catherine Daly. Patrick was born in Kerry in about 1811 and Catherine was born in Tipperary in about 1820. They were both convicts. They married in Wollongong. I know nothing about the Irish side at all. I think Patrick's father was also called Patrick. They had 14 children and Gary is descended from their eldest son John who married Mary Jane Teague (born Cornwall 1846). Is this enough info? I am so glad that you are all soooo normal. I hope that you all have a wonderfully mad day Thursday.

Trifley Report 12 Jul 2006 10:40

Hi everyone Well I've just knocked back a couple of martini's and am feeling very little pain at the moment. As I said to Crew....bugger, bugger, bugger. At this stage I have every intention of being at Jupiters tomorrow. It will take more than a positive result to keep me away from a Wattle Club meet! What do I say? Feeling numb and very unhappy. I'll keep you all informed as to what is happening. Love you all. Trifley X

Hi Crew Did you mention that one of your rels was a Worland? When we were in Grafton we knew a family by that name. I wonder if you are related? Trifley X

Lewella

Lewella Report 12 Jul 2006 10:50

Were the Worlands you knew mental deranged? If so, they were definitely related, lol

Vicki

Vicki Report 12 Jul 2006 10:58

What a shame Lew. I do love to find new rellies. Sorry to say crew that I have convicts coming out of my ears. My family tree is full of them. However they all seem to have made good once they got their freedom. One even went back to England and brought the wife and kids back to Australia. Must have liked what he saw. I have even discovered that Gary and I are 4th cousins. Bit late now after 31 years of marriage. We share a set of 4xgreat grandparents. No nasty comments please lol
