Good evening you mad lot of Waffling Wattlers. Tony, I'm sure between us we can organise for the waxing . . . we will have to take a vote and choose the most sadistic to do the job for you!!! Yes, thanks for asking - the lovely Ray & I are just fine - no Tsunami in Jakarta - though the south coast has copped a beating!! At the time of the quake - I was going deaf in Timezone so knew nothing of it untill we were in the car on the way out to dinner. The restraunt was superb . . . All decked out like a traditional tropical water garden. They serve traditional food from all the different islands, and between the six of us we chose to have platters from three of the island food styles and share. We went for Bali, Sumartra and Suliwesi - all yummy, some hot, some spicey (well they are the spice islands) - a very nice night in very nice company. The restraunt was called . . . . would you believe 'Lara' In Indonesian folklore Lara was the most beautiful woman of all (see some folklore is right) anyway Laras dad told the 'creep' he could marry Lara if he built 1000 temples within a time period that I cant remember . . . (tee hee - no wine, just tea) The creep had it all worked out, but Lara didn't want to marry him she wanted to marry the one she loved, so when it looked like creep was going to finish on time the lovely Lara lit up the sky with many fires and lights - the rooster awoke thought it was daybreak and started his morning ritual . . creepface heard the rooster, thought bugger me I didn't finish on time so he did himself in. And thats the story of the Lovely Lara . . . . I have enjoyed the singing this evening, in fine form aren't we . . . Ray told me to shut up or the guests at the hotel would all leave . . nice man !!! Well that it for me this evening folks - time for 'lights out - pipe down' !!! Catch you all tomorrow, cheers luv Laurie
