Didn't see that Deanna but is it just me or is that Eamon Holmes a little smarmy? Andy I prefer Clive Anderson on Radio 4 or on 'Whose line is it anyway' but I don't like him as a chat show host that's when he does come out with stupid things. He is a sarcy bloke, I get a little peeved when people think sarcasm is clever or even funny, what do they say 'sarcasm is the lowest form of wit' I would definitely agree with that. Pat x

Pat, I reckon it was a jealousy thing with Clive Anderson and the Bee Gees. They've got hair! CB >|<

I thought that the Michael Parkinson one with Rod Hull and Emu was hilarious. Not much fun for Parky though! Maggy

Phoenix

I remember the Rita Hayworth incident, Buttercup. Everyone self righteously accused her of being drunk, said how disgraceful it was etc... It turned out that she was ill. 'Misdiagnosed as an alcoholic in her later years, Hayworth actually suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. '

Yes CB just a nipper ;-) Hi Roxanne George was very naughty & I think he was relishing the fact he was getting away with a certain word, it seemed Wogan was enjoying it too. lol. Maggy Don't think Parky ever got over the Emu :-( Phoenix the same thing happened to Peggy Lee when she appeared on TV after her stroke, people assumed she was drunk. Well I suppose it is the first thing that comes into your mind, unless you are told better. Thanks for all your contributions I enjoyed it :-))) Pat x
