Can anybody help me find George Dalley (middle name Robert)... born c1847 St Giles, London... I can't see a birth record on Freebmd for him, nor can I find him in the 61/71 census pre his marriage. |

Try looking for a second marriage for his mother. He may have taken his stepfather's name on the 1871 census. |

Shirley - thanks... family info is that he died in a "fall"... he was a builder.. so I am also going to be on the trail of his death cert and any inquest.. as it must have been a significant fall to kill a 41yo man... all adds to the interest! |
