I have found the birth
STAMP Hannah Quickfal Caistor 14 329 in March Qtr 1849. I have found a birth with parents and siblings nearby in IGI but I would like to know if the 1851 census confirms them please.
In IGI the parents are James and Elizabeth.

Many thanks,
Frances

Hannah Quickfall Stamp
Year of Registration: 1849
Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar
District: Caistor
County: Lincolnshire
Volume: 14
Page: 329

but I can't see the baptism on the IGI, nor can I see her on the 1851 census in Norfolk

Which village was the baptism in, so I can look at the census again

Hi Linda,
The IGI record I found is

HANNAH STAMP
Christening: 11 JUN 1850 Barton Upon Humber, Lincoln
Father: JAS. STAMP
Mother: ELIZTH.
ANN 27 DEC 1846 (ULCEBY), MARY 01 JUN 1848, ANN 06 JUN 1851
As it is a christening I thought the date was feasible but the district of Caistor is a bit far south for Barton unless they moved between registration and christening?

Thank you David, Christine and Linda,
I have worked backwards from the 1881 census and her marriage to William Goy in 1872. The 1851 census has her 10 years too old as the 1881 gives her as 32 and from Caburn!! Excellent result.
Please can you tell me who she is a niece to - who is listed as Head?

William Hall is the head, Charles Stamp is brother in law so Charles and Mary are her parents.

The Hallgarth and Roebuck are in previous household

Hi Frances,

I've got the head of household wrong, there are so many lines drawn accross the image I'm getting confused, it's Jane Roebuck who is the head.

If you pm me your email address I'll send the image.
