James Beswick born 1830s/1840s married Mary Bromil

I am trying to find out about James Beswick who married Mary Bromiley in Bolton in 1864. They had two children Alfred Albert Edward 1864 and Margaret Ellen 1867. He doesn't appear with his wife and children again (ie frm the 1871 census).

Help!

It may be worth buying her marriage cerificate to see if there is any other info about hom, maybe a sailor ?

Oh you are a star! I did not know she was a widow. At least I now know he died, but I still don't know any other details about him - I'll order the marriage certificate now.
