Find Ancestors

Wonder if anyone can help, I found Matthew it was spelt Astbury in the censu but is actually Asbury he was a shoe and boot maker living in Alsager, Stoke-on-Trent, he had 7 children and was married to Maria Kendrick(my fathers name was Kendrick Frank I am assuming he was given the christian name Kendrick after my gt grandmothers side of the family) I believe he was born in Barthomly in Cheshire, what I have drawn a blank with is where is he buired I cant seem to find him any where.

No sorry I dont, but my gt grandfather was born about 1871 and at the time of the 1881 census he(Matthew) was still alive, he married Maria in 1856 at Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, Matthew was born about 1834
Does any of this help.

Oh and I must tell someone or I'll burst.........I was perrusing the auction sites and you will never guess but there was Matthews christening mug, been in touch with the auction house, who put me intouch, or rather, put the buyer in touch with me and I we met(safely, open enviroment and all that) discussed the mug and verified all the details and.........yes it was Matthews the buyer offered to sell it to me but I cant afford it.....still never mind
