Find Ancestors

I am trying to find any relatives of my grandmother Kathleen Muriel Hadlow she was born in Orsett Essex in March 1903 she married Ernest Turner in June 1924, the marriage was registered in Strood, they had one daughter Joan Kathleen my mother. I have no information on her parents or siblings can anyone help.

You can try 1911 census too. The 1901-1911 period is a bit tricky I think, as no census and also can't search births by mother's maiden name.

This info has to be confirmed by Mavis by getting certs etc.

To get the info I found go to the free 1911 census and search for Kathleen Hadlow c1903 +/- 1 year. You get one, Kathleen Muriel (good start).

She was in Gravesend District.

Then go back to the search page and do an Advanced search for Hadlow in Gravesend with a member of the household named Kathleen Hadlow.

The result was my post.

Thanks David! I have tried this with my own family (odd names so i know they are correct) but it has never accepted other family members! Will try this in future tho.
