Hi
I am trying to find death information on a Amelia Hobson, wife of John Hobson, she died sometime between 1825 - 1827.
The family lived in Rawden or Guisely, in Yorkshire.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks, Hilary

Mary

When did John die?
Was Mary hobson on 1841 census in Rawdon Guisley with christiana born 1826 and ann born 1829.
If Christiana was John and Amelia's daughter then maybe Amelia died in childbirth.

Just found it Chrissey 1824 so that is of no help.
What was Emilia/Amelia's maiden name.

Hi Mary, thanks for your reply.
Amelia was married to John and they had 4 children - Esther, Jane, Suzannah and Chrissey. Jane the youngest born may 1825.

John married again in October 1927 to a Mary Raistrick and they had a daughter Ann in 1829.
Mary is down as a widow in 1941

Best wishes
Hilary
