I think you'll find that the marriage register (not cert) states that he was 'not of this Parish', rather than County. |

Thank you for your help and interest, however I have this information. Do you think he may have come from Oxford as there are many Beckleys around Islip. I would like to apply for his berth certificate, but I need to know where he came from. |

You can't get a certificate for any bmd event before 1837 |
