putting this search into search trees with dob +/- 2 years brings up two trees, one belonging to Rachel which I presume is you and another belonging to Veda with dob 1903 in Stockport. Have you looked at that?

You have to sign into Yahoo to connect wih the group.
It is a One Name Study of Adsheads run by Gordon Adshead. You will get all the help you need tracing your family. My grandmother was an Adshead but not the same family as yours.
If all else fails Google for Gordon Adshead and email him.
