My grandfather was a publican until the mid-60's. He was known as 'Joe'. My father (again Joe) worked with my grandad in The Black Lion pub in East Ham during the mid 50's. Grandad had various pubs before and after the Black Lion. My grandfather had another son (Keith Edmeades who lived in Tilbury for some time andwho would be around 56/57 years old
