From marriage certificate 11.6.1905

James Hutson age 26 (born 1879) a Slater son of John Hutson Labourer

have looked on 1901 census can;'t find anyoneof that age with father a lab.

any one got any ideas please

Go to the official 1901 site, where you can search using occupations........the boy should already have been a slater, as he would have been aged about 21.

The father could have been dead.........or non-existent.........

I did look at these entrie but shunted them into touch.

Did beleive age on marriage cert very clear 26 wife is 21 so very possible that the one on cenus is the same

If the marriage in Islington is your James, it fits nicely with the 1901 census.............
