Charles Turner born approx 1892 to parents Robert Turner (born 1859 to Pellatt Turner) and Mary Grant.
To the best of my knowledge ( actually my 96 year old Father's ) he was born in the Norwood or Anerley area of South London in Borough of Croydon. He had many brothers James, Harold, Hugh, William, Duncan, Percy and one sister Ethel.
He was apparently a Royal Naval Champion Boxer.

Have looked at Middx 1901 and can find no Charles Turner with parents Robert and Mary....sorry but I'm no expert.

Hi, sorry to butt in, but i'm sort of searching charles turner who would have been born roughly around the same time. I don't know who his parents were, but my charles turner married Hannah Hollins in 1919, could this be the same charles turner? If you could let me know that would be great as it would help me with my search too.
