This morning I requested all three books from the library. If I'm lucky I might be able to collect one or two next week. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I must admit that I tend to choose books I can get on the Kindle, although I do try to make sure they are available in paperback at a reasonable price.

I shall read the Bones of You and probably splash out on Dorothea's war (as the subject interests me) and the Girl Who Came Home.

Have just ordered from the library. dorotheas war, and the bones of you. Hopefully they won't be too long.
Just read anns thread above I might see if one of my lads can download the book the girl who came home as this would of been one that I had chosen if it was available at the library. Think I can spare £1.99

Interesting thought. Why do we choose the books we do. Some choose because they are available at the library, I choose those that are on kindle and my choices then are price led. I have so many books to read on my book shelves I just can’t justify paying out 5 – 7 pounds for another book.

You may remember I said something similar when I agreed to continue with Greaders some time back. This time I will read the winner (99p on Kindle) But will opt out of the runners up which sadly are £5.99 and £4.99 on Kindle.

I will also read Rabbit Stew which I have on my book shelf and probably The Girl who came home which is £1.99 on Kindle.

Sorry if this seems mercenary.

The Things We Never Said.

Rabbit Stew and a Penny or Two.

Quite a few of the books are available from Birmingham Libraries, although there may be a short waiting list for some.
So should probably be okay, whichever way the vote goes.

I want to read them all!!!
