But I will update the heading of this thread, thankyou for suggesting it.

Could you copy and paste the URL (the thread address from your browser bar) on to this thread please? If you edit the title on this board to include 'possibly in Australia' it would attract those with knowledge of resources there.

If you haven't already, it would be useful to copy this one on to the thread on the other board

Hi everyone. Please bear in mind I have a thread on searching for ancestors as there wasn't a living family one when I started my search. Loads of replies on the other one. So please read it, so you don't cover old gound.
Someone recently found a Mary Teresa who travelled to Australia in 1963. The last address for her was in mornington, Victoria in 1985.
Has anyone a search engine please which goes beyond 1985 for the census in Australia.
According to the census, this Mary still had the surname Johnson.
In anticipation, and thankyou

I am searching for Mary Teresa Johnson, born May 1945, Birmingham to alfred and Gladys Johnson. My husband Michael's family were all split up when their mother gladys died in 1950. My husband Michael was 17days old and was adopted.
The last known of Mary was her working in the moseley area of birmingham in a hotel in 1963.
We only need to find her to have the family complete once more as i found my husband's brothers.
I have had a thread about this on Trying To Find for nearly two years. I thought a fresh post may help. We have done an awful lot of research into this and obtained all marriage certificates in the UK for Mary Teresa Johnson.
Could she have gone somewhere like Ireland and married someone over there? Records are not available for Ireland.
Many thanks Rosemary
