Have you searched trees?

Have you looked for possible births to the marriage on Freebmd? Hard to be sure with those names as they are pretty common, but there are 2 possible births in Somerset 1946 & 1948 - might be worth checking out.

The marriage is there on free bmd, (and looks just like White),
Marriages Jun 1945
Taylor Vera E White Taunton 5c 668
White William Taylor Taunton 5c 668
it is the death that is not showing anywhere, but she could easily have died after 2005.

When and where do you think she died, or had she lost all contact with other family members? Similarly did you have no knowledge of your cousins?

I have the marriage certificate and that is brief . I may have found his death
Oct/nov/dec 1970 7c 1267 it gives a date of birth as a10/9/1891 which could be about right . It may tell me something if it's the right man .

The was a falling out and Vera was never talked about not even her serviiving brother knows what happened. He was away in navy at the time when he came home she was gone. As a family we did not know of her existence until the year my mother was dying and she wished to find her In. 1972 . We have been looking on and off for years getting a little further each time .

I cannot find a death so small possibility she could be alive <3

The marriage cert should list William's age and father. Was he really around 54? What was William's occupation? Could they have moved abroad?

There are just so many William Whites. If that is the one who married Vera, it should have said 53 on the marriage cert.

Have sent for that death certificate to see . witnesses were
George Batstone and Vera Bracher who we have no idea who they were .

Maybe a trip to the records office to see if there is any information on the poor Institution called the Lodge at Wellington . they pulled it down years.. ago and built houses there which is where I did live when I found the marriage. Am in Taunton now so maybe following in the footsteps lol ;-)
