Lifting this off the other thread before it is zapped.
What do you think Susan?

Could be have been Richard, known as Johnny?

Could he be Richard J Brett? Born 1959 Willesden?

The marriage of the parents was in 1952 in Islington district

Are you Susan L?

Like the other members, I can see no trace of the births to which you refer

Where~ what site~ have you found those two births?

I cannot see either of them on Ancestry , which is THE SITE, the bible, the best site.

Where have you found this info please?

Not sure where you found these births as I am not seeing them

Have you tried 192.com or searched the trees on this site or facebook?

Buy both birth certificates and then at least you will know if one of them has the right mother.

After spending hours searching I think I may have found a possible relative. I am now searching for a Johnnie Peter Brett b. 1954 in Lambeth and a Johnnie Michael Brett b. 1954 in Hackney. I am hoping that one of these is my long lost brother. They both have their mum's maiden name as Smith [Mary Ada Jane Smith was her full name].......my brother , like myself , was brought up in foster care families.......any help appreciated....Susan
