I think a cousin emigrated to Australia in 1955. I have found the shipping passenger list and them on the 1972 electoral register, living in Maree, Griffith, Queensland.

They were Lucy Carney and her daughters, Cherrill Lucy, Barbara A, and Jacqueline.

But where do I go from here?

Hi Kathlyn
The 'Ryerson Index' (on-line) shows an obituary for a Lucy Carney (-funeral 28/7/1979) age 91 yrs - late of Capertee was in 'Mudgee Guardian' 10/8/1979. 'Ryerson's will do a free 'look-up' of the newspaper notice.

'Ryerson Index' also shows a Barbara Carney d c17/5/1993 ..notice in 'Sydney Morning Herald' 19/5/1993. A 'look-up' should show if she's your relative.
