I had tried this previously and gotten some contacts but have tried again and found a new contact. Unfortuntely, they are from the same family so I doubt they will have more info. But, here's hoping!

Have you tried "Search all Trees" under the Search button above.

If you find a possible match you can contact the tree owner to see if you have a connection.

I suggest you delete the automated message about "looking at their tree" and write your own message outlining who you are looking for etc.

I am looking for relatives of Quinn for a relative of mine.

I think one family may have remained in the Strabane area while another area of the family ended up in the Coleraine area (from ancestry family tree - have contacted, not replied).

I suspect William Quinn's family born 1915 (also born 1885 died 1973) are still in the Strabane area - Urney presbyterian would have been their church. My Dad went to school with a Billy Quinn from this area and I think William Quinn born 1915 could be his Dad.

The names of the family that ended up in Coleraine are - Samuel James Quinn born 1892 died 1985 Coleraine, he married Anna Gamble and had 2 boys, one John Ivan born 1927, died 2004. Also, Elizabeth Jane Quinn born 1895, died 1991 Coleraine md William Smyth.

Any leads in tracing this family would be greatly appreciated. The family in NZ had no info on the 'Irish' side until I provided it so I am sure they would be delighted if I could trace living relatives in this line.
