This is the information I was provided with from 'Ask Us'

The SA Births, deaths, and marriages database informs us that THOROLD ( not Harold) James Smith was born in 1900. His mother Phoebe died 3 years later and in 1909 his father, Edward Alexander Smith, remarried. The family were part of the Wesleyan church community of the Port Pirie area. Thorold was divorced by the time he married 23 year old Doreen MARGARET Barber at the Adelaide Registry Office on 10 June 1937.
Doreen Margaret was born at Semaphore on 5 March 1914 to William Clark Barber and his wife and Doreen had older siblings. William Barber had married Sarah Ann McInnes, born 1876, on 26 June 1896 at the Glanville Methodist Manse. The McInnes family were from the Port Adelaide area, her father was Charles McInness.
Marriage records are private in SA from 1937 so we don't know when Doreen remarried. But her death record states that, aged 50, she died on 17 May 1964 at her Brayville residence. This suburb is now part of Plympton Park, near Adelaide. She was the wife of Eardley David William Tyrell.

I think this may be sad news.
The 'Ryerson Index' (on-line) shows a Margaret Anne Smith 'and to see' 'Margaret Anne Coory' died 12/1/2010 age 65yrs.
Her 'notice' was in the 'Adelaide Advertiser' 19/1/2010.

'Ryersons will do a 'look-up' of this newspaper notice ...for family names etc.

The 'State Library of South Australia' (on-line) has an 'Ask Us' librarian service ...they (also) can check the newspaper death notice/s ...and electoral rolls -past & present.

I am searching for Margaret Anne Smith, who was born in approximately 1949. Her mother's name was Doreen Margaret (maiden name unknown). Her father's name was Harold James Smith. Margaret had a step father called Eardley David William Tyrrell. Eardley was born in Little Swamp, South Australia in 1913 and died in 1975.

I hope someone can help me find Margaret.
