I am trying to trace a Trevor Edward Jenkins, He was the second son of a Leslie Gordon Jenkins, who was my uncle

I really cant give much details, my uncles name was Leslie Gordon Jenkins he was born in1910 I believe in Cuckfield and he married a Frances V A White in1927 I believe they had two boys Gordon Leslie and Trevor Edward who was born 1-12-45 and was then living at 111,Bentswood road Haywards Heath, He married a lady called Susan Carolyn Hewitt on the 17 July 1971 and was living at 5, Washington Road Haywards Heath, I don't know if they had children. His brother Gordon was born in1905 and he had 5 children but cannot find them, he died in the 1970s, that's all the info I have

That explains it. I was looking on 1945 as that was the year you mentioned earlier.

1911 census shows his brother to be Albert Thomas Oliver. There's no brother called Gordon.
