Hi I'm trying to trace my mums side of the family. Only have her name and D.O.B to go on. She died in early 1980 she was Barbara jean Norman (nee George) born 16/7/1943.

There are several possibilities for a marriage of her parents .as she was born in WW2 people were not in their usual place of residence so they could have married anywhere

You need her marriage cert to see her dads name

Have you purchased her birth certificate OR do you wanted to ASSUME the marriage in 1940 is correct & the brother 1942 is also correct.
