I am trying to track down relatives or friends of Jack and Margaret Landon of Trowbridge, Wiltshire. I am the granddaughter of Margaret Landon's brother John Gerard Murtagh. I am trying to trace the family history and would appreciate if anyone has any information to contact me please.

Thank you for the responses received in relation to my enquiry thread25th February - much appreciated. I apologise for not responding earlier but only manage to do this in my spare time at weekends.
I have messaged the two members (LANGDON) who list Jack Landon in their tree and await their response when they next on the site.
I have managed to obtain a marriage certificate for Jack and Margaret who were married on 28th April 1934 at St Josephs RC Church (Longsight). My family lost touch a number of years ago and am informed that they had no children. Unfortunately my grand parents are deceased now so am only going on snipits of info.
My Great Grandfather I believe was born in Dublin but have not managed to trace his DOB as of yet - He was John Murtagh who lived in Kilbarrack Co.Dublin who married Jane Lawlor (2 Carrickhill, Co. Dublin)on the 27th April 1907 at the Roman Catholic Church SS Peter and Paul (Ireland) - they had 3 children John Gerard Murtagh (My grand father) Patrick Murtagh (born I believe in Ireland from the Census and died in Kendal at the age of 20 yrs to which I have the death certificate) and Margaret Murtagh who married Jack Landon.
On Jack Landons Marriage Certificate it shows Jack father named Douglas Landon.
