Hi, I am looking for my grandfathers family. His name was James Douglas Steeples. He was born in Edwinstowe, Nottingham 1906. He left England as a teenager for Australia where he died in Sydney, Australia in 1968.
His father was Samuel Steeples born in Wirksworth, Derby and his mother was Louisa Page born in 1861. James had 6 siblings. Hannah Maria (Annie Wain), George, Edith, Alice, William and Jack. I would love to know more about this side of our family if anyone can help.
