I have arranged a tour of Adam Morts former home - Dam House, Astley, Manchester. It is on the 15th December at 7pm. It does cost £10 which I need to pay the Mort Astley heritage fund in advance - but this includes a 2+ hour tour of a very old manor house, plus presentation by historian Elaine Hurst as well as food and drink. May also be an opportunity to meet up with distant cousins.
