hello david,

you need to do a few things if anyone is to help you :-)

first, the chances of John seeing this message are infinitessimal ... but possibly other members will be able to help ... do browse some of the other threads on this board to see how it might work

you need to go into your account and select a board name, so your name on your post doesn't appear as a blank

click 'watch this' at the top of the thread so if anyone replies to it in future you will get a notice (which you will not, otherwise) and always keep a current email address in your account here in case someone replies or sends you a private message

you can click on 'my threads' on the left side to find this thread any time

give as much info here as you can without violating anyone's privacy

are the sisters older or younger?
do they have the same two parents?
do you know John's mother's surname?
that would be the only way to identify his birth for sure

if they had the same mother but not the same father, for instance, their surnames would be different but the mother's surname shown when their birth was registered would be the same, and this could help match them to John and identify his birth

identifying his birth would give you his age and possibly a middle name if you don't know it

you can see how it works by searching here
http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

for John Abbott, born 1941-1945, for example ... and you will see there were dozens of them

probably you won't know to look here for replies ... please post a reply here yourself (the box at the bottom) if you do see these replies ... othewise someone will send you a private message to please return to your thread if you would like help ...
