How recent is the paperwork your friend has?

Unfortunately there are large numbers of S /Sharon / I / Ian / K / Keith Camerons in Toronto, let alone the rest of Canada.

I wonder how you know that they all live in Toronto now? Has there been contact? Do you have an address?

That record above is the correct one

Sharon and the three children was born in Toronto

I am doing this for a friend as she is trying to find her half siblings
And yes they all live there now

You say,
"there mothers name is Sharon she is aged 70 so abt 1946 born
possibly Toronto area as she is going over paper work she has "

Do you mean Sharon was possibly born in Toronto, or the children were born there - or perhaps live there now?

Who is "going over paperwork"?

Have you any idea where in Canada Sharon lives now?

Is there a Poole hospital in Canada? Or is it the one in Poole, Dorset?

Do you have any idea where in Canada? It's a big country and Cameron is quite a common surname.

If you've a reasonable idea of an area, and a less common surname, try online phone books.

Ancestry do have a number of Electoral Rolls, from memory to 1960. It might be a bit later than that.

Access to Canadian BMD is far stricter than ours. Although it varies from Province to Province, on average it's 100 years for a birth and slightly more recent for marriages & deaths. All the same, you're unlikely to find official records for the last 30 years. Certainly not a marriage within the last 50.

Privacy rules are I believe much tighter in Canada, so finding living people can be difficult, try googling for the names you are looking for, sometimes obituaries of other family members contain useful info.

There are several people on here who have more experience of Canadian research so hopefully they will be able to advise :-) :-)
