Have found someone on facebook going by the nickname for the sister. Just waiting to hear back from her. :-)

There is a birth of a Polly Bartlett born 1983 - but doesn't seem to have a brother called Mark :-(

I've spent a bit of time on this this afternoon and I'm not convinced (although I could be wrong) that the Mark Bartlett born 1977, with a sister Corrie, is the right one. I'm basing this on the info given in the opening post about his having 2 brothers, or step brothers.

The parents of Mark and Corrie appear to be R** and V******* - they are still together on the ER - so unless the step brothers are from an earlier marriage it doesn't look to be them.

Unfortunately social media shows up no results as far as I can see for a Corrie Anne Bartlett. However, everything I have found relates to Mark and Corrie having the same parents and his name being Mark John Bartlett but again, I can't seem to find any results on social media with his name that has friends with anyone with the surname Scott or Bartlett. Is there anything else I can do?

A Corrie Anne Bartlett, with the same parents as a Mark John Bartlett, was born towards the end of 1982? Right area if they lived locally. Corrie could be confused with Polly if your mother or other relative is dredging their memory.
Can't see any further record for her.

There are several births for other Mark J Bartlett'saround the country, and marriages in the same name. If he did go away to uni, there's no knowing if he returned to live near Portsmouth or married and settled elsewhere.

Have you tried facebook or other social media sites? If you can find a Mark who is friends with a Corrie, it's one avenue to persue even if only for elimination purposes.

It used to have a good success record.

If so you could write to them outlining your search, you may find someone who knows him.
It might be wise to not mention in print your relationship, but just outline his approximate age and known place of work and when.

You can click on a match and contact people for more information via your private mailbox.
Again, tread carefully rather than say outright that you are tracing your father, as there may be later family who don't know of you.

I am looking for my biological father by my 21st birthday in October. I was born on 11th October 1996 in Portsmouth. What I know is that he last saw me when I was about 2/3 months old and his sister last saw me when I was about a year old.

All I know about his sister is that her name is either Polly or her nickname was/is Polly. Unsure on if she shares the same surname as him or not and she will have been about 12 years old when I was born.

I know he has 2 brothers but unsure if they're his mums sons or his step dads.

My father: name is Mark Bartlet/Bartlett possible middle name John and was born around 1977 so will be 40/41 now give or take a few years. He was in Portsmouth, UK when I was born but not 100% certain if he was born in Portsmouth or not. He had long hair at the time and worked in Zoom the Basement in south parade pier. Could have possibly gone to university maybe in Portsmouth. Hoping someone will be able to help me find him by my birthday :-)
