Hi all
I'm just found out this week that I have an older sister and would love to find her, her name is Kate Gardiner and she was born on 25/4/1973 in New Zealand and grew up in Tawa, Wellington.
I'm checking social media etc but no luck to date, so would appreciate any advice and/or leads.
Thanks in advance,
Angelique

This is where adoptees look for birth family. there are others for NZ.

registry.adoption.com/b_adoptee_birth_country_New%20Zealand,1.html

Perhaps if you register with a site should she look for family at some point.

As her name may have changed and certainly her surname she will be hard to locate unless shes wanting to be found.

Enter her birth details as part of your tree on this site.

She must be aged 20+to access her adoption file in NZ.

This is NZ official site that offer service for both adoptees and birth parents/family.

Angelique,

It may also help if a birth parents name their birth year also their place of birth is part of your tree as these details will be filed should Kate seek her adoption information.
