Thanks to all for the information. I have passed it onto the Canadian branch of the family.

JC - true! My cousin in Toronto moved house in 2015, but she's still shown at her old address. Not such a time lag as your friend, but the site's definitely not accurate in all cases.

Bev - if you feel you want to contact Alisa's partner, you could always try the contact details given. Perhaps if he's moved, the present occupant would know the new address. Or perhaps he's still there.

Yeah, I saw that. Those things are usually waaaay out of date.

Someone I know in Ontario Canada is shown there at the address she moved from in 2002.

Oh heh, and also at the address she lived at about 2 addresses before that, like in 1993. But not at her current address. :-)

There's an address and phone number for the partner on this page (number 16 on the page), but I don't know how up-to-date it is:

Not sure how I missed the obituaries ... ! What a shame about Alisa.

North Bay and St Catharines are not near each other, but we don't have information about where the family was from.

Alisa's partner (it seems) is named in the obituary. Googling his name finds him at LinkedIn but I'm not finding a phone listing. The only other results, using a short version of his given name, are condolences he has posted on several other obituaries at that site.

Sadly, this may be Alisa's death - unless there are two Alisa Hills in St Catharines:

Also -
I don't know if this is the same Tom Stone or not - if so, here are his office details:

canada411 has a listing for a T Stone in North Bay.

I'll PM you the details, Bev.

EDIT:

also a different address and phone number for a Tom Stone in North Bay, found on whitepages.com

At the time of her mother's death she was living in St Catharines:

Here is a summary of Joanne's obituary:

http://news.ourontario.ca/2997425/data?n=2

Alisa's name is indeed Hill.

The actual obituary might well name Alisa's husband. It might also give enough info about Joanne's brother Tom that he could be located.

There is an email address for the local library that holds the obituary, which might do the search for you.

Unfortunately, even if it were certain that Alisa lives in the same community, Hill is a very common surname, and things like telephone listings tend to be under the husband's name - unless the spouses are not together, of course.

There are 6 A Hill-s in the community where Joanne died ...

I've moved onto the Canadian branch of the family now and am trying to locate Alisa Anne Billington. She was born in 1965 and her parents were William Earl Billington & Joanne Stone. We understand that her married name was Hill(s) but have been lead to believe that this marriage was disolved. Her Mother died in 2005. Can anyone help?
