If George was born in 1927, he would be 90 now.

That must be him; the only other George T Coyne birth was 1920.

(Yes, his father remarried. Violet and Pauline are considerably younger.)

There aren't any GT Coynes in the Australian white pages, unfortunately.

If Violet and Pauline have any idea where George settled, it would be easier to look for records, as birth/marriage/death records in Australia must be searched by state. (And of course they are not available for recent years.)

Also, whether they know of George marrying, in England or Australia, any children ...

Hi
As it appears he went to Sydney 1955 I suggest you 'Ask a Librarian' at the 'NSW State Library of Aus' (on-line) -they will check the electoral rolls from 2 years after his arrival i.e.1957+ and trace his movements.
They also check newspaper death notices -so they could check around the year/s he goes 'missing' from the rolls.

(There is 1 death for a 'George Coyne' in 'The Age' (Melbourne) 11/5/1976. The 'Ask a Librarian' at the VIC State Library could check this death notice for you-if not found in NSW.)
