I’m looking for my half brother Michaels Batty. He was born in Scunthorpe in 1991 to Annette Batty. I would really appreciate any help or direction you guys could give me!

Lots of initials - might help to find him.

Did he stay with Annette, or was he adopted?

If adopted, his name may have been changed.

If with Annette, did she later marry? Michael's name might have been changed to that of his step-father.

Thabk you very much! His birth mother was Annette, then he was adopted as a small child so he probably does have a different surname. I’ve found his birth record on here. I’m sure it’s the one you found ArgyllGran :) not sure what I do next?! Xx

Have you added your name to the Adoption Contact Register? If you do and your half brother decides he wants to look for his birth family he may do the same and then there is a chance of you being put in touch with each other.
