Looking for two cousins under the hardest name to find people.
Anyone help with the above two cousins originally born in County Durham to John and Florence in 1929 & 1932 respectively.
Norman is possibly married to Polly and living in West Mercia.
Leonard is married to Pam and possibly living in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
Please help us to find them.

Thanks

H Brammer

There were two Leonard Browns born in Co Durham in 1932 - Leonard with no middle name Apr-June quarter (that's the one whose parents' names Malyon has posted) , and Leonard A in Oct - Dec quarter.

I don't see the marriage of either of them to a Pam or Pamela.

EDIT:

The Taylor /Brown parents are correct.
Norman's mms is also Taylor.

So neither he nor Leonard have middle names.

Are Polly & Pam the wives registered names, or those they were known by?

Pam could be Pamela while Polly is, apparently, a nickname for Mary & also a nickname for Paula, Paulina, Pauline and Paulette..

West Mercia is a huge area encompassing Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire & Herefordshire. There are a number of major towns including Birmingham, Coventry & Wolverhampton!

Norman's birth registered in Gateshead district
Leonard's in Darlington

ErikaH Report 30 Jul 2018 10:24

The Leonard Brown who is in Ashbourne on the ER 2002-10 has a second forename

All marriages of Leonard Brown to 'Pamela' are for men with second forenames

When and where did you last have contact either of these men?

What have you done yourself to try to find them?

Hedley has opened the message I sent advising that info had been posted. No acknowledgement - very disheartening.
