No we didn’t mean that was him but they could be related and may know his whereabouts or what happened to him

Hi,

Would anyone mind suggesting a good place to start here please.

My mother last had contact with her father in 1964 from the time when she was born until around the age of 1. Since then we have had no contact. We would like to find him and/or his family.

All we have is his name (Ngaruiya Kinyanjui), where he was living (Nairobi Kenya) and a rough age. And the only evidence we have is a work permit (he was working as a houseboy for a raf family).

I am considering flying to Kenya, however I don't know where to begin searching when I get to Nairobi. I have also considered finder monkey however their fee £1500 is out of our budget for the foreseeable future.

Any advice welcome please, thank you.

Oliver
