Dear Valarie,

By a sheer fluke I came across your post this evening. My mother, nee Doris Williams, was born in 1919 and died in 2009. I knew she had been married and divorced before she married my father but I had no idea that she and her first husband had had any children. I have never been on this site before; can you contact me through it?

Best regards,
Mark

There's a Simon J Blacklock of the right age living in Hampshire, at least until 2015, when he may have opted out of the public ER.

There's also a Simon John Blacklock in Warwickshire until 2018 (years overlapping with the Hampshire man, so presumably not the same person) - but he'll be the one born in Warwickshire.

Re Mark W - he seems to be the only child ever born with that name, at least per FreeBMD!
There's a man of that name in London in 2018.

I'll PM details of both, with the usual warnings.
