Thank you for your response. Noted regarding Guildlines and have edited the original post.

He has registered so hopefully something will come of that.

You really should not name living people on here without their permission. Read site guidelines

Tell your partner to add himself to the national adoption contact register (Google for details).

If his brother is aware of his younger half-sibling, and has any interest in finding him, he may have done the same.

Whatever you do, do’t attempt to make any direct contact yourself

My partner was adopted as a young boy. He had an older, half brother who he vividly remembers being in a care home with. After my partner was adopted (he is convinced his brother was never adopted), he still had contact with his brother up until.the age of around 10 - he said his adoptive parents took him to see his brother, once a year in what he believes was the care home he originally lived in.

We know, because of his original birth certificate, who his birth parents are but his brother doesn't have the same father - I think I may have found his brother, using mothers Maiden name and at a guess, the year he was born.

His brother is called Adrian, born around 1980 in or around the London borough
of Lewisham.

My partner unfortunately had covid-19 and was very unwell - I think its put things into perspective for him and wants to reach out before it's too late.
His adoptive mother died when he was 17 and his adoptive father left some years previous and he doesn't know where he is, he quite literally has no family and hasnt had anyone in his whole adult life.

Other than the basic access I have available on line, where do I go from here?

My partner was registered at birth as Jason Lloyd Osei-abeyie (1984)

I'd be ever so grateful if someone could help.

Many thanks for reading, Sam
