Interestingly, there's a birth for a Beverley in 1982 in the district of the second marriage

Probably sheer coincidence..........

Nancy is often a "pet" version of Agnes.

There was a marriage in 1969 in Glasgow of a Robert Winning Wilson and an Agnes Helen Dunnett.

There's a second marriage of Robert Winning Wilson in 1981 in Motherwell and Wishaw RD.

There's a marriage of an Agnes H Wilson in Watford in 1971, to a Scotsman, judging by his name. Don't know if relevant.

EDIT:
BUT you said they split up in the late 1970's, so the 1971 marriage can't be Nancy..

No births for on SP Siobhan Wilson before 1970.

How old were these girls when you saw them?

And where were they living?

Was 'Nancy' their mother's actual name - or a diminutive of Ann?

If they are your first cousins, one of their parents is a sibling to one of yours.

So, you should know the correct name for that person - what is it - and when was he/she born?

Not sure the surname Dunnut exists. Do you mean Dunnett?

Have you followed up on Nancy

Were the girls still young when the family split ,if so who did the girls stay with

When you say went south of the boarder then presume the girls were born in Scotland

You would need Scotland’s people website to look for possible marriages for them

I am looking for my two cousins Sioban and Beverley, who the last time I saw them had the surname Wilson almost 40yrs ago. They're parents were Robert and Nancy wilson, and they split up in the late 70s with Nancy moving possibly south of the border. Nancy's maiden name was Dunnut if I remember right, and her parents lived in Shettleston in Glasgow. If anyone can help it would be greatly apprieciated.
