I am trying to trace the family of Hazel Green born in Liverpool 20 August 1917 along with her twin Ronald. Hazel married and went to live in London. I would very much like to contact her family. I am Hazels niece.

There were two Green/Arrowsmith biirths in Liverpool - 1944 and 1948.

Neither of them is on anyone's tree on GR.

The 1944 child may have married in Liverpool in 1966, and had a daughter in 1974.

If so, they were living in Liverpool up to 2014 per ER, and may still be at the same address, as there's no sale record for that property.

Also, they're in the online BT Phonebook at that address, under the wife's first initial.

Annoyingly, Ancestry has "opened" a lot of 1939 records in its transcriptions, but on the image the names are still blacked out.

That 1939 posted by Shirley is one of them.

In the image, is she listed originally as Green, and then changed to Doutch? That's what should be the case if she married in 1942.

She is listed first as Green and then Doutch on Findmypast.

The birth on the 1939 register is correct as per the OP's initial post.

Hi, I am really new to this and finding it quite difficult to more around the site. Thank you Erika for your guidance. I am Gordon Green's daughter and you are correct with the siblings.The Green family weren't good at keeping in touch so I did not know Hazel's married name although I did know it was foreign sounding, I thought that she did have children.
