Find Living Relatives

Looking to find Phillip. Mother’s name was Frances Muriel Hill, father not named on birth certificate. Born January 1946 and adopted shortly thereafter. Adopted name is unknown. His brother Robert is 72 years old and has just found out about Phillip’s existence from papers received from the children’s home in which he was placed after birth. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, as his name would have been changed on adoption, there is no way we can trace him online.

Robert can register with the Adoption Contact Register. If by chance Phillip also registers, looking for his birth family, they may be put in touch with each other.

Born where,please? As in….which country?

Was the mother married to a Macready?

Otherwise,why does the child’s surname differ from hers?

Someone in Australia has added a postem to the birth record on freebmd

I would assume the postem contact, entered today (8th), is the brother Robert on whose behalf Kerry is searching.

Kerry, I know not everyone is a fan of this , but would Robert consider doing a dna test? Probably an Ancestry one as you can then download the results to other sites ( can’t do it the other way round). If there are a number of siblings as Erika has suggested then this find some of them.

Added: according to freebmd.org.uk there seem to have been two sister born between the two brothers.
Further added: according to trees on ancestry one sister, Hazel, died in Australia in 2013. She is on several trees. Not all show the same number of half or full siblings.

BUT...............nothing we can do will find Phillip.
