My Grandad 1st World war

I can find nothing on any of the sites regarding my Grandads 1st World war records or medals but i know he was in the army as i have a picture of him on a horse and also another one with some men who were cooking. Anyone can help please.

What sites have you looked on,

A picture of him in uniform on a horse is no proof he served in WW1, Have you had the photo and uniform dated?

Some details may help, Name, where and when was he born

I too have a picture of my Grandfather in uniform on a horse. He was in the Imperial Yeomanry and fought in the Second Boer War in South Africa. Maybe your grandfather too was in that war. The Imperial Yeomanry was disbanded in 1908.
