His service records are still held by the MOD the info you need to apply for them can be found on the link below, their is a charge of £30 and it can take up to 12 months

Trying to trace info on my father Joseph Welford Rye who was a regular before the WW2 started,

Does anyone know where this regiments information is now lodged. Thank you.
