Do you have access to Ancestry ? There is a medal card for that service number

I know my father served in this regiment in WW1 but do not know in which battalion. has anyone any suggestions on how I might find out which battalion he was in so that I can find out more about where he was sent etc. His name was Albert Jones number 42119
