David, Do you mean delete this thread?

or a (PM) personal message?

Once you send a PM you can delete it from your sent messages but it will stay in the recipient inbox for them to read.

To delete any sent or recieved message then to the left of the message is a square box, click on the box to add a tick, then click on delete located next to where it says (move to folder) along the top of your messages

If you want to delete the thread then it's best if you (don't) because more info could be found and you may find that at a later date you may want to ask for further help with this man and by deleteing this members would then need to start searching again and so duplicating what has alsready been found.

To find this thread in the future, On the left of the page under Tools is "My Threads" click on that and you will find all the threads you have started and any you have added to,

To delete a thread then just click on "Delete" located at the top of your ( OP)opening post

Dear Eringobragh
Thank you very much for contacting and sending me the letter William sent to Mrs Rees and her family It's probably the last letter William wrote.
What I have been told by family members (one aged 96) that William was a very caring person and was and still loved and remembered today by all of his family.
We owe so much to these brave men who serve and protect all nations from repression we will never forget them for their sacrifice.
