Hi Samantha,

Unfortunately, it is very unlikely anyone connected to these families will see your postings.

You would have more chance of success if you clicked on the Search button above and filled in the details of each person on the Search all Members trees tab. If you find any connections, you can message the tree owner for further info. Hope this helps.

In addition to Cynthia's suggestion, it might be helpful to add the appropriate War to the title. Just click the 'edit' above your first post. That will allow you to add WW1 or (more likely) WW2 against the name.

Even if you allow your subscription to lapse, make sure that the email address you use is registered with GR. That way, if someone comes across any of your posts on an internet search in the future, they can send you a message via this site

hiya..yes...am in plymouth..many yrs ago someone was digging ip front garden and came across a small paper bag containing about 30 dog tags...we just came avross them after sorting things out..so thought be good to return them to family....
