Member Since: March 2006 Posts: 48 Send Message	my grandfather is said to have deserted during ww1, his name was George Henry Hancock. He then joined the merchant navy under the name George Vernon . He was from Liverpool is there any website I could look at where there is a list of deserters. thanks for any help. Debbie.
