Susan -
unfortunately MarieCeleste is no longer a member of GR.

She won't be looking for replies here after so long, and it's not possible to contact her.

What a pity you didn't keep an eye on your thread for replies much sooner.

Hi Marie Celeste, I hardly ever look at Genes Reunited. Many thanks for the information. You have the right person. I have both marriage records from India.

If he was born c1875 and had a father called Ralph then there are details of two marriages (1908 and 1925) in India on FindMyPast.

If yours then I can send the images if you don't have them.

My grandfather served in the Boer War in the Royal Artillery. I'd like to find out where and when he enlisted and where he served in South Africa. Can anyone help me find this information. He later ended up serving in India and I have found some details in the London Gazette of his later service. Thank you.
