Can anyone read the place of birth for John Pritchard on the 1851 census apart from Wales. Llan --------- Might help to find a possible baptism

Not seeing a John Pritchard on the 1861 census in West Derby - they are all in Wales

There is one with only initials of JP who appears to be in the Workhouse as a Pauper. His trade is Joiner born in Wales in 1788 and the RD is Liverpool

Using the fairly new GRO website facility which you can search for free (you just have to register) And just searching in the West Derby RD the following comes up as a close age match i.e. 62 when he died in 1854 (he's 58 on the 1851 census)

There is no certainty that it is him, but if you buy the certificate, which you can do through the site, the informant may be a relative. The cost will be £9.25

death of John (born 1792) i.e. Williams father

name of Johns father (date of birth and death)

Thanks that in correct she died very shortly after she married. Maybe you could help me with this: JOHN PRITCHARD born 1792 died ??? married MARY ???? IN 1820. Had (6) children CHARLOTTE ISOBELLA JOHN RICHARD THOMAS AND WILLIAM

Would like to find out when John died who his father was, MaryS MAIDEN name and when she died

Your right he died 1965 also the above information regarding henry and mary Victoria May Atkinson is correct would like more info on Edna Margaret do not understand where newman comes from

Iam looking for my grandfathers regiment from the first world war he fought in Aris in the trenches,was living in Bootle merseyside before he joined up and i think he worked on the docks. CAN ANYONE HELP.Also he survived the war as he was born in 1885 and died 1960
