1822 - The 13th (Somersetshire Light Infantry) Regiment formed as a Corps of Light Infantry.

The regimental archives of the Somerset Light Infantry, as well as some North and West Somerset Yeomanry records, are held at the Somerset Heritage Centre.

I am trying to find out the movements of the above Regiment between 1871 and 1884.

I have the Attestation Papers for my Great Grandfather that show he served in India during this time.

I've tried to research this particular Regiment during these years without much success.

Does anyone have any info or advice?
