No documents are online for those who served after 1920, you have to write off for them as they are still with MOD. It costs £30 and you have a wait several months for the service record.

I am new to GR and with the kind help of the `researchers` have started my family tree. My father Albert Reginald Ward dob 18/03/27 was in the army and may have been in the above regiment possibly from 1943 ish. Please can someone tell me how I can check this out. Thank you
